Production by a Studio of creative development of Konstantin Khabenskiy in Kazan based upon the novel of Boris Vasilyev «The Dawns here are Quiet» about the girls’ squad during World War II.

The performance is directed by the tutors of Kazan studio: Rustam Fatkullin and Naylia Fatkullina.

«Leafing through Pages» is  a new reading of Vasilyev’s novel — powerful, touching and bright, kind of requiem, lyrical poem, revelation for children and for grown-ups as well.

The story of War and human relationship is performed by children and that provides it an  unrepeatable sincerity and emotionality. The actors of the studio dedicated the performance to the memory of their great-grandparents who  had survived during the horrible years of War.

The actors don’t pronounce any words during the performance but fully attract the attention of the audience by their silent acting.

The first of the performance was at the Festival of Khabenskiy’s studios «Operenie-2015» in Saint-Petersburg and at the children theater Festival «Marshak-2015» in Voronezh and at the opening of a new Khabenskiy’s studio  in Sochi on March, 2016.

Konstantin Khabenskiy takes part in the performance with his wonderful voice of the «author» of the performance.
